29 April 2011

29th April 2011 - a monumentous day in the history of the British Monarchy.

Every girl dreams to meet his Prince Charming. HRH Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge married hers today. And HRH Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge married the girl with the glass slippers!

Two billion people worldwide witnessed their beautiful union.

A modern real-life fairytale indeed! *sigh*

Move over Cinderella!

They kissed at the Buckingham Palace balcony TWICE!

Prince William and Kate Middleton have been given the new titles of Duke and Duchess of Cambridge following their marriage at Westminster Abbey. William has also become the Earl of Strathearn and Baron Carrickfergus meaning Kate has become the Countess of Strathearn and Baroness Carrickfergus.

The great thing about the Queen's title choices is that she has chosen the English dukedom, a Scottish earldom (the couple met in Scotland at St. Andrew's University), a Northern Irish barony - and William is already the Prince of Wales.

Kate looked radiantly happy, she was every inch a Princess with her exquisite

Sarah Burton (Alexander McQueen) wedding gown!

The couple are evidently smitten with each other. The way they look at each other is just magical - the gaze of true love!

Let's hope and pray that they live happily ever after and that they may produce lots of beautiful offsprings!

Below is a video clip of The Royal Wedding Vows.

Defeaning Silence

Death is inevitable.

When someone we know meets death especially in the most unexpected way - a sudden passing, what hurts the most are the things left unsaid. The below video makes me cry every time. The lyrics of the song really hits home.

It's never too late.

Forgive the ones who have wronged you and tell your loved ones how much you love them and how much they mean to you - every chance you get.

Cherish every single day as if it's your last.

What Hurts The Most
by Rascal Flatts

I can take the rain on the roof of this empty house
That don't bother me
I can take a few tears now and then and just let them out

I'm not afraid to cry every once in a while even though
Goin' on with you gone still upsets me
There are days every now and again I pretend I'm okay
But that's not what gets me

What hurts the most
Was being so close
And havin' so much to say
And watchin' you walk away

And never knowin'
What could've been
And not seein' that lovin' you
Is what I was tryin' to do

It's hard to deal with the pain of losin' you everywhere I go
But I'm doin' it
It's hard to force that smile when I see our old friends and I'm alone
Still harder gettin' up, gettin' dressed, livin' with this regret
But I know if I could do it over
I would trade, give away all the words that I saved in my heart
That I left unspoken

What hurts the most
Is being so close
And havin' so much to say
(Much to say)
And watchin' you walk away

And never knowin'
What could've been
And not seein' that lovin' you
Is what I was tryin' to do, oh
Oh yeah

What hurts the most
Was being so close
And havin' so much to say
(To say)
And watchin' you walk away

And never knowin'
What could've been
And not seein' that lovin' you
Is what I was tryin' to do

Not seein' that lovin' you
That's what I was trying to do
