Greetings from the beautiful island of Boracay!
I know I've been completely slack lately and believe me I have a very valid excuse. Anyway, hope you're all well.Now let me share with you one of my most favourite places in the world.It's been almost 3 years since I've last set foot in the island. Although I've been here a few times, this is the first time I've felt a tad alienated. Maybe it was because of the massive Sunday crowd that shocked me upon arrival or the countless loud tricycles that seemed to have taken over every road that's at least a meter wide.
Thank goodness there is one thing that will never be taken away regardless of how commercialised this place gets, the Boracay Sunset! It's insanely beautiful it looks like someone took a massive brush and started painting the skies. Apart from South Africa, Boracay still has one of the most beautiful sunsets I've ever seen.Just the perfect place to cap off the summer and celebrate Mark's 30th birthday.
Now excuse me whilst I go and grab yet another Mango Milkshake to cool me off and read the rest of my book under the coconut tree by the beach. Ciao!
